The low-cost operator Ouigo has announced that it is extending the suspension of its train services to Córdoba, Málaga and Seville until at least 15 November, following the rail accident at Urda. The company had initially announced the cancellation of its train services until 2 November.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket for these dates may exchange it or request a full refund at no cost. The company is contacting those affected to inform them of the situation and the options available.
However, 15 November is a provisional date, as it is not yet known when the Madrid–Seville high-speed rail line (LAV) will reopen. To this end, the repairs to the damage caused by the accident must be authorised and carried out, and the infrastructure must be verified as safe to operate.
For its part, Iryo has been selling tickets since 9 November, whilst Renfe will begin selling them on 13 December.
