The fifteenth edition of InnoTrans has once again broken attendance records after three decades of history. Some 175,000 trade visitors from over 120 countries toured the 42 halls at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre, dedicated entirely to the world’s leading transport technology trade fair.
A total of 3,190 exhibitors from 59 countries showcased their latest innovations across 200,000 square metres of exhibition space. With nearly 200 more exhibitors than at the 2024 event, the fair has established itself as the platform for innovation and the strategic meeting point for the international sector.
Dirk Hoffmann, Managing Director of Messe Berlin, described this year’s event as one of superlatives and highlighted the increase of 5,000 trade visitors compared with the previous edition, which demonstrates the exhibition’s influence 30 years after its launch. According to Hoffmann, Berlin has brought together the global mobility industry and created the ideal setting for face-to-face meetings, future partnerships and commercial agreements.
Meanwhile, the director of InnoTrans, Kerstin Schulz, offered a vision for the future centred on digital transformation. Schulz noted that, over the last two years, “artificial intelligence has gone from being a trend to becoming the dominant topic of conversation, and that by InnoTrans 2026, AI will have established itself as a widespread reality across the entire industry”.
The next edition will take place from 19 to 22 September 2028.
