The German start-up Nox Mobility has opened ticket sales for its first night service, set to begin operating on 23 March 2027. The train will run three times a week in each direction between Hamburg and Munich, stopping at Bremen and Augsburg.
Single tickets start at 65 euros and can be purchased on their website. The company unveiled its first train at the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin. Users registered on their ‘Early Birds’ list receive a 20 per cent discount on their first journey.
Each passenger will have a ‘Nox Suite’, a private space with a spacious seat, a table, space for large luggage and power sockets. At night, the seat folds out to two metres next to the window. From 2029, “Nox Rooms” will be introduced – private rooms for one or two people.
From Hamburg, the train leaves at 21:22 and arrives in Munich at 8:14. In the opposite direction, it leaves Munich at 21:20 and arrives in Hamburg at 8:27.
The company, founded in 2025, completed a pre-seed funding round of 2 million euros in April 2026, led by IBB Ventures. It aims to connect 100 European cities by 2035, including Barcelona.
It unveiled its first passenger coach – a second-hand vehicle from the DB – at InnoTrans 2026.
